17.12.2008 - Motor Sich JSC Order Portfolio for 2009 is Going to Grow Substantially

The contracts signed by Motor Sich JSC are going to allow the company to maintain positive sales growth rate in 2009. Aircraft and helicopter engine supply contract receipts are going to be at least USD450 million.
The consistent company policy of markets diversification has enabled it to increase its portfolio orders from Asiatic countries, which are the least vulnerable to the world financial crisis. Moreover, non-profit organizations of the Russian Federation, the main users of Motor Sich JSC products, have increased their orders, which also ensures helicopter engine output boost up to 45%. As regard some engine modifications available in the company product range for 2009, their orders have grown up to 60%.
The Motor Sich JSC order portfolio for 2009 contains contracts with our leading partner, the Russian Federation, and also large contracts with China, with a total of over USD60 million; with Algeria, with a total of about USD30 million; and with Iran within the project of technology transfer and joint manufacture of TV3-117VMA-SBM1 engine for Iran-140 aircraft, with a total of about USD20 million.
