MAKS-2005 International aviation and space show

President Vladimir Putin of Russia inaugurated the 7th International aviation and space show MAKS-2005 in the city of Zhukovsky near Moscow on August 23. This show was the most representative and impressive over the last 14 years: 532 branch companies from Russia and CIS countries, as well as 134 foreign ones were among exhibitors. The colors of 40 countries were hoisted. More than 200 air vehicles of various types were on static display in the exhibition center field with the area of 20.000 square meters.

An-148 aircraft was on flight display in the first show day. Visitors were enchanted with the French flight group that showed the genuine aerobatics.

Experts and visitors were focused on the MOTOR SICH JSC exposition, one the few exhibiting real engines and a wide range of consumer goods. The Director General himself had to perform the role of the most professional guide: for one hour and a half Mr. V. Boguslayev was speaking to the Secretary of State of Ukraine about the produce of the company.
