26.03.2008 - Meeting of shareholders of Motor Sich JSC
On March 20, Thursday, a general meeting of shareholders of Motor Sich JSC took place. This is a major event for the working collective of the engine-builders. The activities of all subdivisions within the accounting period were evaluated in the course of preparation to the meeting. Subject to analysis were not only the achievements but also the plans that were impossible to fulfill to any reason. In this case the significant tasks are included into a plan for the next year.
The meeting was attended, apart from the engine-builders, by the physical and legal bodies who have obtained the shares of Motor Sich JSC and are naturally interested in the circumstances at the factory, growth of the volume of production and selling of salable produce, relations with Russian partners…
Motor Sich today is a transparent company, open for the shareholders, potential investors and creditors that fully conforms with the rules of civilized market.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors Vyacheslav Boguslayev has noted a successful advance of Motor Sich to the market of capital when delivering his report on the economical state of the joint-stock company during 2007 and main directions of its production and financial-and-economical activity in 2008. The level of demand for the company’s shares on the world money market exceeded the offer out and away, it has allowed to adequately assess the value and invite the the necessary funds.
We have confidently reached the level of shipment of salable produce equal to 1 billion 622,2 mln. UAH, we have transferred the amounts to all-level budgets and out-of-budget funds equal 169.2 mln. UAH, including transfers to the local budget in the amount of 169.2 mln.UAH. We have received 207.1 mln. UAH of net profit, which is one of the most tangible results over the passed years.
Motor Sich JSC has maintained its aviation profile. The aviation equipment makes 84.9% in the structure of manufactured salable produce.
The problem of providing young families with housing remains to be currently important. The government is unfortunately unable to solve the problem yet.
Vyacheslav Boguslayev said that it is in our plans to build houses in order to keep the young people and career employees working at the factory.
Concerning plans for 2008, by now already we have firm orders to provide the growth of production by 114%. By the end of the year this figure will traditionally grow bigger.
At present we develop a strategic business plan of production development until 2015. It comprises, first of all, the programs of increasing sales of the produce and expansion of its production, modernization and productionizing new types of products, improvement of quality and reduction of the first cost of produce, reduction of internal expenditures and provision of the production facilities with highly-skilled personnel.
Decisions have been taken by the meeting regarding issues of the agenda, in the end V.A. Boguslayev has assured the people present that the factory, which celebrated its centennial last year is now steadily developing and this is our course for many years to come.

06.03.2008 - Shipment of the first item GPA-K/5,5-GTP/6,3CK
On January 22, 2008 V.I. Omelchenko ZMZ, which is part of Motor Sich JSC shipped the first item GPA-K/5,5-GTP/6,3CK designed and manufactured in accordance with the order of OOO “Interleks” for updating CS “Kupjansk” of trunk pipeline Ostrogozhsk – Shebelinka.
Gas pumping unit consists of:
Gas turbine drive D336-2 are series produced at Motor Sich JSC production facilities since 1997; rated power at +15 °C is 6.3 MW, efficiency is 31 %, rotational speed of power turbine is 8200 RPM, the drives are operated in various new and modified GPU with power of 6.3 MW in booster compressor stages of trunk pipelines and underground gas storage facilities.
06.03.2008 - 2-nd International Youth Scientific and Technical Conference
«Youth in Aviation: New Solutions and Advanced Technologies» , the 2-nd international youth scientific and technical conference will be held in Gorizont spa, Alushta, the Crimea from 12 May to 16 May 2008. Supported by GP Ivchenko Progress, Zaporozhye National Technical University, and Zhukovsky National Aerospace University HAI, the conference will be held with Motor Sich JSC assistance.
The Organizing committee is inviting young people who have great potential to participate in “Youth in Aviation: New Solutions and Advanced Technologies”, the 2-nd international youth scientific and technical conference.
The main conference goal is stepping up innovative work by young engineers, professionals, scientists, and university students in the field of aeroengine industry to address technical, technological, economic, and energy saving issues; contribute to production environment improvement; and reduce production cost of aeroengine manufacture.
Conference Participants Motor Sich JSC and GP Ivchenko Progress workers, engineers, and professionals as well as those of other leading companies of Ukraine and Russia, students, masters, post-graduate students, and young sceientists of under 35-year-old age whose activities are related to aeroengines industry may participate in the conference.

23.11.2007 - 6-th International conference of young specialists
The 6-th International conference of young specialists has been conducted at the facilities of Kommetprom Ltd. since October 23 till October 26 under the auspices of Federal agency on industry and Federal space agency of Russia.
The subject of conference was as follows: ‘New materials and technologies in aviation and space-and-rocket equipment’. Presented on a large scale were the aviation, metallurgical and space-and-rocket industries of Russia. Ukraine has been represented by the young specialists of Motor Sich JSC and SE Ivchenko-Progress.
In the course of reports presentation the young specialists have got a possibility of obtaining assessment of their works and communicate with the collegues, acquire new information and listen to corrective and sometimes to critical remarks.
The following authorities have addressed the participants of the conference in their welcome speeches at the function that has taken place in the conference hall of Federal space agency of Russia: N.V.Abrosimov, Counselor of domestic policy department under President of RF; B.E.Chertok, principal scientific consultant of Motor Sich JSC and RKK Korolev Energiya, Ph.D., Engineering, full member of RAS, team-mate of Sergei Korolev and others.
The organization committee of the conference has granted a special incentive bonus to a work of design engineer Viktoria Reuchenko from Motor Sich JSC.
23.11.2007 - Tools and equipment 2007
Motor Sich JSC has taken part in the 1-st interregional exhibition ‘Tools and equipment 2007’ since October 17 till October 20. The exhibition has taken place in PS ‘Yunost’.
Our company has exhibited at its exposition a diversity of consumer goods, integral hardmetal cutting tools, full-scale samples of parts manufactured by high-speed milling and full-scale samples of parts manufactured by LOM-technologies.
A new development of Motor Sich JSC design and technological department, a wind power station ‘Motor Sich VES-3’ has been exhibited in the open-air site of PS ‘Yunost’.
23.11.2007 - Oil and gas 2007
Motor Sich JSC has taken part in the 11-th International oil and gas industry exhibition ‘Oil and gas 2007’ which has taken place in Kiev since November 6 till November 9, 2007.
The company’s exposition has demonstrated the mock-ups of power-generating stations and gas-pumping unit.
The Motor Sich JSC stand has been visited by S.V.Kuzmin, Director of capital investments department of NAK ‘Neftegas of Ukraine’.
339 exhibitioners from Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, USA and other countries has taken part in the exhibition.
