Motor Sich JSC: First in New Pilot Project to Field Electronic Information Disclosure System
In January 2007, the State Committee on Securities and Stock Market (SCSSM) included Motor Sich JSC among the 13 Ukrainian companies who participated in the SCSSM Pilot Project supported by the USAID Developing Markets of Capitals Project to field Electronic Information Disclosure System. The system is to set up a base to coordinate efficiently the interaction between Ukrainian business entities, investors, and public organizations in terms of runup, submission, and disclosure of information on securities emitters’ activities according to the requirements provided by Ukrainian Legislation and international standards.
Motor Sich JSC recognizes that prompt information disclosure by securities issuers is crucial for investors to take a reasonable investment decision; it lays the foundation of a well-coordinated market of capitals, and transition to international standards of information disclosure is essential for the development of Ukrainian market of capitals.
