Shipment of the first item GPA-K/5,5-GTP/6,3CK

On January 22, 2008 V.I. Omelchenko ZMZ, which is part of Motor Sich JSC shipped the first item GPA-K/5,5-GTP/6,3CK designed and manufactured in accordance with the order of OOO “Interleks” for updating CS “Kupjansk” of trunk pipeline Ostrogozhsk – Shebelinka.

Gas pumping unit consists of:

gas turbine drive D336-2 with electric starting manufactured by Motor Sich JSC;

high pressure centrifugal compressor GTs2-206/37-55 manufactured by “M V Frunze Sumskoje NPO” modified for installation of dry gas seals of the company;

air-purification device of Pall Company;

climatic control system;

automatic control system developed by ZF OAO “Tjazhpromproekt”, which provides for possibility of transmission of archive data concerning operation of the unit through Internet;

safety system of GPU developed by specialists of Motor Sich JSC: system of fire safety signaling system based on PPKP “Gamma-01”, system of gas pollution control based on “Dozor”.

Gas turbine drive D336-2 are series produced at Motor Sich JSC production facilities since 1997; rated power at +15 °C is 6.3 MW, efficiency is 31 %, rotational speed of power turbine is 8200 RPM, the drives are operated in various new and modified GPU with power of 6.3 MW in booster compressor stages of trunk pipelines and underground gas storage facilities.
