HeliRussia 2008 Exhibition

On May 15 – 17, 2008, in Moscow the first international exhibition of helicopter engineering HeliRussia 2008 was held in the first exhibition pavilion of the modern international exhibition centre ‘Crocus Expo’.
129 companies took part in the exhibition including 22 foreign companies from Great Britain, Italy, Germany, France, the USA, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, and the Republic of Belarus.
In the exhibition pavilion there were exhibited 20 helicopters manufactured by MVZ Mil JSC, Kamov JSC, Kazan Helicopter Plant JSC, Eurocopter, Agusta Westland, Bell Helicopter, Robinson, MD.
Motor Sich JSC presented the AI-450 engines for helicopter Ka-226 and TV3-117VMA-SBM1V for new and earlier MVZ Mil and Kamov helicopters, and also the VK-1500C engine designed to power the An-38. Displayed in the exhibition were samples of advanced production processes, medical instruments and consumer goods.
