The Motor Sich D-250 engine represents a family of four-stroke multipurpose universal single- and two-cylinder engines with displacement volume of

250 cm³. The engines are provided with air or double-loop water cooling system that makes it possible to use them in moderate-cold and maritime climatic conditions.

Despite small overall dimensions the engine features extended capabilities and high reliability, unraveled among the engines of this class.

• manual or electric starter;

• fuel booster pump;

• forced-feed lubrication system with gear pump, which ensures longer service life and higher reliability;

•  flat-head valve gas distribution system that ensures compactness, low price and reliability;

• high-energy ignition system;

• 60W power supply with 12 V voltage regulator, giving the possibility to charge storage battery and supply power to external consumers, local or remote control panel;

• engine operation control systems: indication of minimum oil pressure and maximum temperature of internal cooling loop liquid;

• thermostatic switch of inner cooling loop;

• otboard water self-priming pump and water-to-water heat-exchanger are available with the engine marine version.
