Motor Sich KM-17 Carburettor

The carburettor is intended for making fuel/air mixture for fuel supply systems of single-cylinder two-stroke internal combustion engines with power not exceeding 3.6 kW (4.9 hp). The main field of carburettor application is the petrol power saw engine as well as the engines powering farm and garden equipment (lawn mowers, bush-cutters, rippers, etc.). The Motor Sich KM-17 carburettor is installed on the Motor Sich-270 petrol power saw. The fellers using this saw have repeatedly taken the first and prize places at the Ukrainian and International competitions of fellers. The carburettor is intended for operation at ambient temperature ranging from -23°С to +40°С without assisted start-up.
Specifications:

Type: floatless, membrane, single-chamber with horizontal diffuser, fuel pump and throttle-adjusted flow of air/fuel mixture Fuel: petrol with octane number ranging from 76 to 95 mixed experimentally with such oils as Mobil Super 2T, Valvoline 2T, Azmol Start 2T in proportion specified for every particular internal combustion engine. The fuel gets supplied to carburettor via built-in fuel pump with leaf-type dampers operated by means of pressure (rarefaction) in engine crankcase chamber from the fuel tank located at least 200 mm lower than carburettor. |
