DEKA M-100 - WATER-COOLED PISTON ENGINE
The history of Zaporozhye Motor-Building Plant started in August 1916 with production of the first vertical single-row 6-cylinder water-cooled engine "Deka" M-100. The 129 hp (later 168 hp) engines have been used to power some versions of the world-first four-engine large-body heavy-lift ILYA MUROMETS airplane (designed by I.Sikorsky).
