M-22 - AIR-COOLED PISTON ENGINE

The series production of the М-22 licensed nine-cylinder air-cooled star engine with 570 hp was mastered by 1930. The М-22 engine had been produced until 1935. The total number of produced engines amounted to more than 8 000 installed in 25 types of combat and commercial aircraft. Among them were the I-4, I-5, I-15 and I-16 fighters; К-5, Stal-3, KhАI-1, U-Z, AIR-7 passenger aircraft and others.
