ASh-82FN AIR-COOLED PISTON ENGINE
The production of a new ASh-82FN (A.D.Shvetsov design) engine featuring power of 1850 hp and direct injection unit was launched in 1940-1941. It was installed on the La-5FN, La-7, La-9, La-11, Tu-2, Il-12 planes and, besides, on 20 types of experimental planes.
