RD-45F TURBOJET ENGINE
The period of 1950 to 1960 is beginning the era of gas-turbine engines. In 1953 the production of the RD-45F engine (developed in V.Ya.Klimov Design Bureau) featuring 2270 kgf at takeoff was launched. The engine production continued until 1958. The engine was used to power the МiG-15 fighters and Il-28 planes.
