AI-24 TURBOPROP ENGINE
In 1961 the plant launched quantity production of the AI-24 turboprops designed by A.G.Ivchenko. The AI-24 takeoff power rated at 2400 hp. The engine upgrading resulted in building of its versions AI-24VT with 2820 hp at takeoff and AI-24T with 2550 hp. The AI-24 engine and its versions were used to power the Аn-24, Аn-26 and Аn-30 planes.
