AI-25 TURBOJET ENGINE
In 1967 the factory began mastering the quantity production of the AI-25 turbofan with 1500 kgf thrust, which has combined the merits of turboprops and turbojets. This engine is the last work of General Designer A.G.Ivchenko. The AI-25 engines are intended for short-haul passenger airliners. They are installed on the Yak-40 airplanes (A.S.Yakovlev design), their modifications Yak-40DTS, Yak-40K, Yak-40P and on M-15 agricultural plane.
