D-18T TURBOJET ENGINE

The quantity production of the D-18T high-economy turbofan engine, developed by Progress ZMKB under guidance of V.A.Lotarev, began in 1984.

The D-18T engine due to its parameters ranks among the world-best engines of this class and meets the Airworthiness requirements.

The engine features 23 430 kgf takeoff thrust, SFC equals to 0.34 kg/kgf·h.

They are intended for long-range heavy-load Аn-124 Ruslan and An-225 Mriya transport aircraft recognized by the world community.

The engine production has been certified by the Aviation Register of Interstate Aviation Committee (АR IAC) and SDATU and the quality system with respect to manufacture, overhaul and maintenance has been certified by the BVQI transnational company.
