D-436T1 FAMILY TURBOJET ENGINES In 1982 the factory commenced the quantity production of the D-436T1 turbofan developed by Progress ZMKB. The D-436T1 engine features 7500 kgf at takeoff, SFC at maximum cruise equals 0.608 kg/kgf·h. The engine is designed to power the short-haul Tupolev Тu-334 passenger airplane, Tu-230 transport airplane and to retrofit the in-service Tu-134 airplanes. The maritime version of the turbofan D-436TP is intended to power the multipurpose Be-200 amphibian. The engine production has been certified by the Aviation Register of Interstate Aviation Committee (АR IAC) and SDATU.
