AI9-3B GAS-TURBINE ENGINE

The engine has been developed by Progress ZMKB. It is used as APU for the An-140 plane and is an option for other planes and helicopters manufactured by the CIS countries.

Its purpose is to generate compressed air for starting propulsion turboprops, drive electrical generator, generate compressed air for the aircraft conditioning system.

He engine rated shaft power is 16 kW, consumption of engine-bled air is 0.47 kg/s. The engine and its production have been certified by the Aviation Registers of IAC and SDATU.
