TV3-117VMA-SBM1 TURBOPROP ENGINE

The TV3-117VMA-SBM1 is a promising high-economy low-noise engine developed by the Motor Sich JSC and Progress ZMKB. The engine propeller shaft takeoff power is 2500 hp (2800 hp at emergency power). The SFC at maximum cruise power is 0.188 kg/eq.hp·h. The engine is intended to power the An-140 airplane and is an option for short-haul Il-114, Tu-130, MiG-110 airplanes. The engine production has been certified by the Aviation Registers of IAC and SDATU. At present the An-140 passenger airplane powered by the TV3-117VMA-SBM1 engines performs regular operations within Ukraine. This is a new page opened in the history of Ukrainian aviation.
