Summary of 2007 sports year
This year, all work of the Motor Sich sports complex in the field of mass physical culture and sports was devoted to the centenary of Motor Sich JSC. In the course of year, there were organized and realized 530 mass sporting measures among the shops and departments at the sports complex.There were realized 53 factory sports days on 15 accounted sports types wherein 51 collectives of the physical culture from the shops and departments participated.
In 2007, 43 collectives of the physical culture realized the shop sports days wherein approximately 2000 persons participated. In October, along the 8th of March Street there was realized athletics cross-country race devoted to the centenary of Motor Sich JSC wherein more than 300 persons participated.
All the year round, at the sports complex physical culture and sanitary groups on various sports types wherein more than 900 persons are engaged. The index of attendance of the Motor Sich sports complex in 2007 was 585225 person-attendances.
2007 was successful year for Motor Sich JSC concerning the work aimed at high achievements in sports.

The following sportsmen were awarded as prizewinners at the European championship: Lazebriy Alina – in underwater sport (3rd place), Bezverhiy Ivan – in boxing (3rd place), Potekhina Victotiya – in diving (2nd and 3rd place).
Cherepakha Victotiya and Plishchak Natalya were awarded as winners of the World weight championship.
The following sportsmen became the winners of the European cup: Zakharov Anton in diving, Tkachenko Darya and Litvinenko Ludmila in international checkers.
Kizner Igor got a bronze medal at the World international checkers championship.
At the World weight championship Cherepakha Lubov won a golden medal, Pshvdak Natalya – a silver medal and Cherepakha Victotiya – a bronze medal.
Handball club ‘Motor’ for the 13th time became a champion of Ukraine.
