Training and retraining personnel

The Motor Sich JSC personnel training administration arranges employees’ vocational training and retraining on a regular basis: training workers to upgrade their competence, as well as training engineers and other employees in industrial safety and risky jobs. The training course purpose is to improve personnel competence and quality of the products manufactured according to the requirements of international standards.

In 2009, 20827 workers and 4591 engineers participated in courses dedicated to specific topics and technical workshops of the professions supervised.
Due to advanced training, 647 employees boosted their vocational rating up to level 4 or 5 in the professions as follows: machinist, grinding machine operator, turner, milling machine operator, NC machine tool operator, electrician, operator of control and measuring equipment, repairman, forging press operator, inspector, with 142 employees keeping on training.
93 employees were taught and qualified as grinding machine operator, turner, milling machine operator, NC machine tool operator, with 51employees keeping on training. 118 workers were trained in allied trades, with 9 workers keeping on training.
219 welders were trained in accordance with the requirements of certifying organizations.
95 employees were trained in non-destructive inspection methods.
70 employees were trained in adjusting precise equipment
332 engineers keep on upgrading their competence in the Motor Sich JSC training centre, in the company units, as well as in the training centres and institutes of competence upgrading.
In 2009, 20 persons were trained in the trade of electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, with 5 persons obtained a job and 7 ones keeping on training.
